In Economics sunk cost is defined as the cost already incurred and cannot be retrieved or recovered.
Rationally, we should make decisions based on the future value of investments, goods, services, and other choices in life. Well, that’s true for the “Econ” (the...

This is a special chapter for the author as she narrates her journey to her decision to say goodbye to a promising investment banking career to become a full-time homemaker. She also shares tips on how to remain an exciting homemaker.
IN A NUTSHELL:
We all want the best for our children and we would do everything to give them the best upbringing. Listen to yourself and honestly assess what's the best arrangement during their growing up years because you can not turn back the hands of time to go back to their childhood anymore.

My boyfriend and I have been getting into little arguments which then later escalated. A lot of which are my fault but I never thought I would lose him because we are in love. He told me yesterday that he loves me but is done. That the fights keep hurting him too much. I can’t believe I hurt him like that and would love nothing more than another chance to prove to him and myself that I will cut out my insecurities that I’ve brought into this relationship. I did all i could to end this fight between us us, didnt work so i had to seek the help of a spell caster who i met online and promised to help me bring him back into my life in 5 days time. i wasnt really sure about this, but i was really desperate that i had to do all that that the spell caster asked me. it was on the fiftieth day at 3pm on friday, i had a knock on the door and to my greatest surprise, it was my boyfriend, the first thing he said was that he has forgiven me and he will never leave me again, ever. Am so full of joy for what this spell caster have done for me, that i want the world to benefit from this. if you need her help you can reach her on (ANNASHELLY42@GMAIL.COM) for any thing on relationship or anything you can think of for she is very powerful and so real.
Jul 16, 2015 / 01:28 pmI should say, there is no better or right equation to become a good mom. I'm currently working for three jobs, two part time job and one fulltime, but still I managed to become a father and mother to my son, though sometimes, I feel this guilt I miss being home 24 hours with him, I have to work so I can provide all his basic needs. It is hard, but I believe that God will provide us strength to carry on. Kudos to this site. I am learning a lot of things about parenthood esp being a mom

Aug 03, 2011 / 09:53 am@July 23, 2011 Guest - Hi, Stella is very lucky to have you for her mother. I sincerely wish you an enjoyable time with her. Do the things you've always wanted to do but didn't have the time to. Take care of Stella, your husband & yourself well. Never forget yourself. It's not always going to be happy. There will even be doubtful moments but rest assured that you are where God wants you to be right now. Enjoy being a "Domestic Diva!" :)
Jul 24, 2011 / 08:40 amLast June 30, I tendered my resignation to devote full time to my daughter Stella. My boss lent me a copy of your book ma'am and this particular chapter enlightened me a lot. Thanks for the inspiration.

Apr 13, 2011 / 01:13 pm@Mar 22, 2011 Guest - You are welcome. These days mothers are really challenged by this big question: To work or not to work. There is no single formula for all moms. We really have to figure out for ourselves what is best for our family without totally neglecting our (the moms') self development. It is a challenging decision to make. I remember reading an article about Jackie Kennedy Onasis saying something like, "If I succeeded in a lot of things but failed in raising my children, no amount of success in these other things would really matter." (I'm paraphrasing)
Mar 22, 2011 / 11:59 pmI became emotional when I read this chapter. I also decided to leave behind my career to devote more time to our growing family. It was a difficult decision for me because I really loved what I was doing. It just came to a point wherein I had to decide who should get my focused attention. Like you I also wonder where I could be now, had I not left the corporate world. Fortunately, most of the time I am where I want to be. Thanks for sharing this aspect with your readers.
