This is the conclusion of the book. It's the author's invitation to the reader to enjoy their parenting. She ends her book with a poem she wrote about child rearing entitled Be There
IN A NUTSHELL:
Parenting can be the most challenging and fulfilling journey. Raising our sons well is the best thing we can do to for our country and the best service we can offer to God for giving us this great privilege of procreation.

May 06, 2012 / 04:33 pm@Oct 9, 2011 Guest - Hi I'm happy that you liked the talk last Saturday. I enjoyed giving it to your group that I sort of forgot that I was a bit sick then. Your group was special in the sense that a lot of you were willing to ask questions and share their thoughts. Congratulations on your contribution to our country. I really hope that parents always remember this so they will always find meaning in what they do, especially those who are full time homemakers. The poem BE THERE is really special to me because it more or less summarizes my take on parenting. I'm sure the tears you shed was a cleansing experience for you. Go ahead, share it with the other parents. It's in the book and also in the You Tube of Raising Pinoy Boys. I look forward to hearing you share your experiences in this website soon. God bless.

Aug 03, 2011 / 12:35 pm@Mar 22, Guest - You're welcome. You know when I was finalizing my manuscript for this book, I wrote down on a piece of paper my objective - i.e. What do I want my readers to feel during and after reading the book? and posted it on my wall as my guide. ENJOY PARENTHOOD are among the key words in my guide. Your comment makes me feel that I succeeded in my objective. Thank you very much for your feedback.
